In a desperate attempt to become relevant, Tucker Carlson shows us yet again why no one listens to him when he talks. Tucker (who is named “Tucker” that is taken seriously in life? I mean really? c’mon son) thinks that Michael Vick should have been executed for his non-capital offense for which he already served his time for.
Awesome and totally post-racial! Check out Tucker’s douchebaggery!

On Monday, Sports Illustrated columnist Peter King dropped this little pebble into the well of an otherwise politically newsless holiday:
Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was surprised to hear the president’s voice on the phone. Barack Obama had two things to discuss with Lurie: the redemption of Michael Vick and the alternative-energy plans Lurie unveiled this fall for Lincoln Financial Field.
Michael Vick has been the target of outrage since 2007 when his ‘Bad Newz’ dog kennel was found to be an illegal interstate dog fighting operation. Aware of that a potential wave of controversy was brewing, the White House moved quickly to clarify that the President condemns the crimes Vick committed.

No really. This picture does exist. Somewhere someone thought “We should get a model for this “Love My Hair” shirt–which is based on the critically acclaimed Sesame Street video about a black girl loving her hair. Wonder who would work best for it…hmmm…“
My brain has imploded due to unexpected large quantities of irony. Via The Random Musings & Findings of a Brooklyn Negro a.k.a. my tumblr…

I’m not sure what I’m feeling right now.
Being a huge King of Pop fan I’m sort of ecstatic simply to hear some MJ that I haven’t heard before. On the other hand I think Curtis Jackson is an idiot. I don’t care how many videos he makes with small strange looking white children. The combination of the 2 makes my head hurt a little. This isn’t like when Michael teamed up with Biggie to create awesome. I remember being so shocked and amused that MJ said shit. But this–feels odd. What do you think?

I’m not sure as to WHY we’re having a surge in KKK related articles. Maybe it’s just that time of year. Maybe people see snow on the ground and they think “You know what’s awesome? Whiteness. Know the best way to express that? Hatred.” I can’t explain it but this comes from KXLY.COM:

I simply wasn’t prepared.
I do a basic scan of all of my social networking accounts every morning. Some days it’s nothing but rage and anger (I follow a lot of political types) other times its…well it’s still a lot of rage and anger (I follow a lot of hateful snarky folks …which I say with nothing but affection) and other times its just a lot of nonsense. This morning I clicked on a video–not really reading the description–and I run across this gem…

Texas Rep. Leo Berman doesn’t think Obama should be President. Why? Because he’s not Whi…er…not AMERICAN. I know, you’re probably thinking “wait, people are still arguing about the validity of his birth certificate?” The answer: Yes, because some people are idiots. In the video at the bottom of this page Berman goes on to explain that he wants someone to “show him” the proof that Obama is an American. Anderson Cooper points out there has been statements by government officials who have seen the letter of birth but Berman continues with the “I haven’t seen it” argument…
