Two thoughts…
The structural issues specific to football regarding pads or no pads to reduce brain injury ; boxing has known about this for decades and changed nothing. So I don’t think that time will see any improvement in recognizing and changing.
Regarding paths out of poverty, I’m disappointed that unions and VocTech aren’t actively recruiting or encouraging teens into careers.
