[Midterms 2010] Last Day to Register to VOTE
In a lot of states October 4th is the very last day to register to vote in the Midterm elections. For the love of all that is awesome please don’t think that because its not a presidential election it’s not as important. The Notorious G.O.P. & the oh so diverse Tea Party are working every angle to make this election a “referendum” on the Democrats to stop the work that they’re doing such as Health Care Reform and immigration reform. Of course the argument could be made that the referendum was ACTUALLY in 2006 and 2008 but Republicans only believe in that sort of thing if its in their interest. Funny how that works.
So if you’re not registered? REGISTER. NOW. DO IT. If nothing else, think of how awesome it’ll be if the sweeping “Republican Change” doesn’t happen in November. Imagine all the smack talk they were doing leading up to the election and their plans go down in FLAMES. This is a perfect time to stop the whole “real America” argument dead in its tracks.
We are REAL AMERICA.
This is not about co-signing the Democrats as much as it is throwing up a clear wall in front of the G.O.TeaParty. Democrats have serious work to do but at least we can fight and they will listen…eventually.
